Friday Series: Parts That Become Personality

When the Protector Becomes the Personality

Who Are You Without Your Adaptations?

Over time, the strategies that helped us survive can begin to feel like who we are. The achiever, caretaker, peacemaker, rebel, helper, or “good one” may be less personality than adaptation. This workshop explores how attachment, family roles, trauma, and protective strategies shape identity and how therapy can help clients discover who they are beneath the roles they learned to play.
