Anxiety, Reassurance, and Relational Control
Fear of losing connection can quietly transform intimacy into monitoring, reassurance-seeking, compulsive questioning, testing, checking, and control. This workshop examines the protective systems beneath these behaviors while also taking seriously their impact on partners. We’ll explore how therapists can hold compassion for frightened parts without confusing understanding with permission.
